Session Summary: This session is designed to make fiduciaries aware of common investment mistakes and how to avoid or mitigate them. It will also provide beneficial information to help board members ask more informed questions of their plan’s service providers.

Instructors

Christopher Reynolds, CRPF™, CIMA, CEBS, CPP

Chris has worked in the investment industry for more than 30 years. He has held senior positions with RiskBridge Advisors, Cornerstone Investment Partners, Rigel Capital, LLC, Atlanta Capital Management Company, LLC, and Barclays Global Investors to name a few. He is an active member of many industry associations such as the Georgia Association of Public Pension Trustees (GAPPT), Florida Public Pension Trustee Association (FPPTA), Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE) and the Southern Employee Benefits Conference (SEBC). Chris earned both a Bachelor of General Studies and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Certified Retirement Plan Fiduciary (CRPF), Certified Public Pension Trustee (CPPT), and the Chartered Pension Professional (CPP) designations. Chris has been active in his community having served on numerous for profit and non-profit boards.

As a regular GAPPT presenter, Chris has received information regarding educational instructional methods and adult learning processes.
