Eric Wilcomes

Eric is the Co-Founder and Managing General Partner of Taurus Private markets, LLC. Mr. Wilcomes began his private equity career in 1998. Prior to forming Taurus Private Markets, LLC, Eric was a Director and Portfolio Manager - Private Markets Group at DuPont Capital Management. Eric joined DuPont Capital Management in 2002 and during his sixteen-year tenure at the firm, was responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, making partnership investments (both primary and secondary) and co-investments, monitoring existing investments, raising capital from prospective investors, and investor relations.​Prior to joining DuPont Capital, Eric was an Associate with Deutsche Banc Alex Brown. While at Deutsche Banc Alex Brown, Mr. Wilcomes was responsible for performing due diligence on private equity investment opportunities on behalf of the bank and its clients.​Mr. Wilcomes began his career at Ernst and Young where, as a Senior Consultant, he performed forensic accounting services for corporate and private equity clients engaged in merger & acquisition activity. Eric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Morgan Wurst, CTP, CRPF™

Morgan started with the Georgia Firefighters' Pension Fund on November 2, 2009 and was named Executive Director & CIO May 1, 2014. Prior to that, he worked 8 years in Atlanta, GA for BellSouth/AT&T in their Treasury organization as a financial manager and 2 years in Houston, TX as an economic & financial consultant for Arthur Andersen. He holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Florida State University, as well as a graduate degree in accounting from the University of Texas @ Austin. He is a Certified Treasury Professional.
